New trend of the enterprise!
The start-up of the new machinery on production of glass wool was carried out on OJSC «Glassworks «Neman» on April 18, 2015.
The enterprise intends to receive the first consignments of fiber glass in the testing mode in operating time. It is planned to get into top capacity of the new production at the end of May. The project in OJSC «Glassworks «Neman» assumes the organization of the first production of glass wool in Belarus. Necessity of creation of such production is connected with import substitution of products on the basis of fiber glass. Capacity of production will be up to 50 tons of glass wool per day, or 16.3 thousand tons a year. It is planned to export glass wool to Russia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, except deliveries to domestic market.
Heat-insulating materials from glass wool (mats, plates and rolls) are produced under the brand NEMAN+ .
Production of glass wool will become the second important activity of the enterprise.
