Ecology
Basic objective of ecological activity of our enterprise is decrease of harmful environmental impact, execution of legal requirements and rules on environment protection.
In order to improve ecological situation in Berezovka administration of OJSC “Glassworks “Neman” achieved agreement with “Gamma Meccanica S.p.A.” about further development (modification) of the equipment for decrease of harmful substances content in gases exhausted from curing oven of glass wool production line.
According to the results of negotiations that took place during recent visit to Italy of the plant specialists headed by Chief Engineer A. Suchkov, there was signed Additional agreement to the main Contract. There was stipulated realization of full complex of actions on further development of the equipment for decrease of harmful substances content in exhausted from curing oven gases and equipment of used water filtration. The given complex of actions includes: conduction of engineering works and further development, manufacturing and delivery of the equipment for decrease of harmful substances content in exhausted from curing oven gases, including additional delivery of post-combustion chamber (incinerator) of waste gases, and equipment of additional (fine) additional purification of processed water.
The whole complex of actions will be executed within 6 (six) months.
After execution of the given complex of actions (approximately the end of September – the beginning of October 2016), in order to control their effectiveness, authorized environmental and sanitary bodies will conduct correspondent measures of harmful substances concentrations in the atmosphere on the boarder of sanitary zone of OJSC “Glassworks “Neman” and housing area of Berezovka.
Executed in full scope complex of actions on improvement of gas purification system will allow to bring the emissions values in accordance with requirements of Ministry of natural resources and environment protection of the Republic of Belarus.
