One Belt and One Road
The first trade fair of countries participating in the program "One Belt - one Way” was held on January 27-29 in the province of Gansu, China. Goods from more than 20 countries and regions such as Iran, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Belarus, etc. were exhibited in the International Exhibition Center of Gansu. Almost 120 manufacturing companies have submitted 44 product categories and 2000 kinds of items exported to China.
During the exhibition days citizens of Lanzhou came to get acquainted and purchase goods from Iran, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey, Burma, Egypt, India, Cameroon, Belarus, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and other countries participating in the program " One belt - one way. " The companies represented the goods that could be of interest for China: electronics, crystal, alcohol, confectionery, milk, cheeses, fruits, handicrafts made of precious metals, works of art, cosmetics and others.
In 2015 total imports of Gansu province with 25 major countries of the Silk Road reached 3.875 billion yuan, an increased for 24.6% compared to the previous year (exports amounted to 3.83 billion yuan, an increased for 24.3%).
